Hello Wonderful Watchers, it's time for a journal update!
First and foremost, I have a question for you: do you like video games? Because I've been working on making video games with a few friends! (I'm the artist/animator, as you can probably guess, haha.) We call ourselves Ordinary Fantasy, and we've got a shiny new website where you can see what we're working on: ordinaryfantasy.com/
There will also be some free minigames and demos put up on the website, and there's already a minigame up there that you can play right now! No download necessary, the minigame can be played right in your web browser.

As for myself, update-wise... well, a lot of my time and effort has been focused on real life stuff and Ordinary Fantasy. It's part of the reason why I've been a little absent on the internet for the past few weeks. I had a few part-time gigs that involved teaching art to kids, and I'll be running a comicmaking class in February (which is something that I am both excited and nervous about, haha). There's also the possibility that I'll be helping illustrate a children's book, and I've been working on some art for that. So I've been pretty busy lately! I haven't had much time to work on my comics, but I have started chipping away at the next page of Pokemon Haunt. It's slowly but surely getting there.
Speaking of comics, Smackjeeves recently went through a website 'update' that is really more like a downgrade. I had a few comics mirrored on there (plus one comic that was smackjeeves exclusive), so I'll be moving all those comics over to Comic Fury. Summer Commissions!

Hello Wonderful Watchers, it's announcement time!
I'll be updating my Commissions prices at the end of summer! They'll be changing to a flat rate, rather than having a price range. This is something that I've been thinking about changing for a while now. The reason I'm updating the prices is so that they are more consistent across all the websites I use. And also because having a price range instead of a set price may be confusing to people.
Before the prices take effect, I'll be having a summer special deal on commissions! From June to August 2019, any commission ordered during those months will have its price set at the low end of the price range! (with the exception of Full Color/Shading, which will be set lower than the normal price range!)
If you've been on the fence about getting a Commission, now's a good time to get one!
(You can look at my Commissions info here for rules and examples)
And, of course, Patreon supporters get a discount on commissions! (Tier 2 and higher.) Patrons also get to see art and comics weeks ahead of everyone else!
Summer Special Prices:
Sketch: $5
Flat Color: $10
Full Color and Shading: $15
Full Color/Shading with Background: $25
Chibi: $10
Pixel Sprite (still): $5
Pixel Sprite (simple gif, 2-4 frames): $7
Pixel Sprite (complex gif, 5+ frames): $11
Additional Characters: an additional $5 per each extra character added to the picture
Previous vs New Prices:

General Updates

Hello, Wonderful Watchers,
It's been a while since I've posted a journal, huh? I suppose now is as good as a time as any for a few updates!

I'm thinking that I might start posting more wips and stuff there, so if you're interested you can follow with your own tumblr accounts.
I also have a youtube account where I may post animations in the future. I've already posted a pencil animation that I made in my first year of college, called Fruit Bat. If you haven't seen it yet, here it is: [link]
I'm going to get a Patreon soon! Anyone who supports my Patreon would get to see comics, art, and wips long before they're posted publicly. Before I create one though, I'd like to hear what kind of content you guys would like to see! What kind of patreon-exclusive content should there be? Even if you can't afford to support me, I'd still like to hear your ideas. Here are a few ideas I have so far:
- a patron discord where you can chat and vote for future themes/ideas/etc.
- early access to art, comic pages, and wips
- sketches from my sketchbook that haven't been posted anywhere else
- access to patron-only streams
- monthly mobile wallpapers or something similar?
- commission discounts
- future character/worldbuilding/etc info that hasn't been revealed yet for various comics

Comic-wise, I don't think I've announced anywhere what my plans for various comics are. So let's get to that.
Team Awai is still going. It is also mirrored on smackjeeves if you're interested: mystery-dungeon-team-awai.smac…
Pokemon Haunt, in case you haven't noticed has... slowed down. Quite a bit. Don't worry Haunt fans, I haven't given up on it. Parts of the story are being reworked, since before I wasn't really sure where I wanted to go with the plot.
Team Surprise will eventually get some comics. I'm thinking that they'll be independent chapters, rather than chapters that happen sequentially in a row.
I've actually already started working on a comic for Sun Racers. For those of you who follow my tumblr and were wondering what those tree/pond background WIPs I posted a while back were for, well, they're for the first page of the comic. That page is actually already finished! I haven't decided on when I want to publish it yet though. 
(but, hey, future patreon supporters would get to see comic pages like this right away, haha.)
Eevee Sisters is still on indefinite hiatus. Maybe one day I'll do an independent chapter/story or two.
The Pokemon X Nuzlocke comic is gonna be scrapped. Sorry to those who were interested in that. However, it may be replaced with a new Nuzlocke! I'm not sure exactly when I'll start working on pages, but I'm thinking of calling it Distorted Pearl. Because it's a randomized Nuzlocke! The poor main characters have to deal with increasingly worse distortions in reality while racing against the clock to undo said distortions and escape the collapsing timeline. Fun times for everyone! I think it'll be a lot more interesting than what I had for the X Nuzlocke. Also you'll be happy(?) to know that Tania is still a jerk.
The current "chapter" for The Story of Cats has come to an end. Kind of. The Wind Waker parody comic has been discontinued. But! I have plans for a longer ongoing main comic that is completely original! Not only that, but there will be a few spin off independent chapters that aren't part of the "main" comic, but still have a story and character development, while adding to the worldbuilding. So that's something to look forward to!
And, lastly, Qiencole is an original comic that is still in the planning stages. I've been working on worldbuilding and stuff, and Blats are one of the many races that will show up in the comic.
